Tyson and I took a trip to Memphis last weekend to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary. We had an amazing time. Jack stayed with my parents and they loved every minute of it. We visited Graceland (which I can now officially mark off my bucket list), partied at Alfred's on Beale Street (where I got called up on stage and was sang to by an Elvis impersonator), ate amazing b.b.q, and narrowly escaped death in the ghettos of Memphis (I'm exaggerating, but it's a long story). We have accomplished a lot in the past three years; we bought a house, got married, had a baby, Tyson started his business and I started a new job. We have been together nearly 9 years and have grown up so much together. We have built strong relationships with ourselves, each other, and also with our family and friends. I love Tyson more today than ever. One thing I realized when Jack was born is that no matter how full you think your heart was before, there is an astounding amount of extra room for more and more love. I love my family so much and am grateful for them every day!

The pool room's walls and ceiling were covered entirely in fabric. Elvis's taste was definitely over-the-top. |

The family room had a waterfall built into the wall. |

This was Lisa Marie's swing set. It was located outside Vernon Presley's (Elvis's dad) office. |

I'm wearing headphones in some of the pics- there was audio commentary that accompanied the tour. |

The letter Elvis wrote President Nixon suggesting that he would love to be hired on to work as an agent in his war on drugs campaign. Pretty ironic.... | | | |
