Jack and I went over to hang with the Franco girls this morning. It was so much fun. Her girls are so beautiful and I love when Abby and I can just relax, catch up on things, and enjoy being Moms together. Caroline has such a cute sass about her and Gwen is just a precious little angel baby. Abby and I agree-we hate living so far away from each other. But it makes me treasure the times that we do see each other even more!

Love Me Tender- 3rd Anniversary
Tyson and I took a trip to Memphis last weekend to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary. We had an amazing time. Jack stayed with my parents and they loved every minute of it. We visited Graceland (which I can now officially mark off my bucket list), partied at Alfred's on Beale Street (where I got called up on stage and was sang to by an Elvis impersonator), ate amazing b.b.q, and narrowly escaped death in the ghettos of Memphis (I'm exaggerating, but it's a long story). We have accomplished a lot in the past three years; we bought a house, got married, had a baby, Tyson started his business and I started a new job. We have been together nearly 9 years and have grown up so much together. We have built strong relationships with ourselves, each other, and also with our family and friends. I love Tyson more today than ever. One thing I realized when Jack was born is that no matter how full you think your heart was before, there is an astounding amount of extra room for more and more love. I love my family so much and am grateful for them every day!

The pool room's walls and ceiling were covered entirely in fabric. Elvis's taste was definitely over-the-top. |

The family room had a waterfall built into the wall. |

This was Lisa Marie's swing set. It was located outside Vernon Presley's (Elvis's dad) office. |

I'm wearing headphones in some of the pics- there was audio commentary that accompanied the tour. |

The letter Elvis wrote President Nixon suggesting that he would love to be hired on to work as an agent in his war on drugs campaign. Pretty ironic.... |

Spring Ahead
Although the weather this week has been a little crazy, we love the beautiful days that we have recently been able to enjoy. Relaxing on the deck, playing in the yard, and working in the garden are things that I truly appreciate and look forward to every year. This Winter seemed to absolutely drag on....I am so glad we are finally looking ahead to long summer days. Tyson planted the garden a couple of weeks ago and Jack was anxious to help. He loves to get involved in helping Tyson or me with anything. He is such a happy and sweet little boy. I can't imagine how boring my life would be without him!
Emily stopped by to hang out and also gave Jack a haircut. As you can see, he wasn't too sure about the whole thing.
Mark also stopped by for some QT with Jack before he left on a business trip.
Jack took a spill and scraped his knee. In the picture below, he's telling the neighbor all about it. He really likes talking to the neighbors and he even says, "Hi neighbor!" "Bye neighbor!" What a friendly little guy ;)
