Growing.....growing....gone!

I got Jack some growing capsules last week and he was mildly curious. I practically had to soak them in boiling water to get them to open up! I think that he enjoyed pushing the chair I set it on more than he liked watching the process. Oh well- you can't win them all!

 

 

 

Jack tried on my Uggs and had a great time walking around in them.

 

 

 

We went to the farm last weekend and as always, had a wonderful time. Jack got to ride with Grandpa on the tractor and he LOVED it.

Jack learned how to play the harmonica yesterday. We've had it around here for a while, but just recently brought it out. I was pretty impressed!

Jack and I went to Carondelet Park this morning. He wasn't really into the playground, but he absolutely loved feeding the ducks.

Goodbye 20's.....Hello 30's!

Well it's official- I'm a grown-up. I had an AMAZING birthday weekend thanks to everyone I love. Tyson gave me a weekend in Memphis (complete with a trip to Graceland) and I couldn't be more excited! Saturday was filled with food, family and friends. My cousin Lauren flew in from California for a visit, so it was wonderful to have her here this past weekend. Chal was in town and we had the pleasure of meeting his girlfriend Kristin. They surprised me with an ice cream cake on Friday, which was well received to say the least! Tyson couldn't wait and he made a huge slice in the cake before I got a chance to take a picture :)

My Mom made me pad thai with apple crisp to boot- yummm! It was also nice to see Mark and Debi. Mark's birthday is the day after mine, so I love being able to celebrate together. 

My girlfriends and I had brunch last Sunday and I arrived to balloons, cupcakes, and a lot of laughs! Jack has loved the balloon since I brought it home....

Tyson's friends call me "Ma, Maski, Maw" and joke about how much older I am than them. Jerks.
