They Say It's Your Birthday...

Today is Tyson's 28th birthday. My parents had us over on Saturday to celebrate with a wonderful dinner. Below are pictures of us celebrating this year and last. It seems as if Jack is growing at lightning speed, but I think everyone feels that way :)

Jack went to his first Cardinals game on Monday. Sitting in one seat for an extended period of time was not an appealing concept to Jack, so we ended up only staying for a few innings. Don't worry though- he definitely got to eat a ballpark hot dog :) I am sure this is just the start of his love affair with the Cardinals- I mean come on, he's from St. Louis!

Our garden has been producing pretty well this year, with the exception of the tomato plants. The zucchini plants have grown so much larger than Tyson and I expected. We went up to the farm for the 4th and when we returned, the zucchini below was waiting for us.

Red, White, and Blueberries

We headed up to the farm for the 4th. We all had a great time- especially Jack. Debi clocked about 4 hours driving Jack around on the lawnmower, and he loved every minute of it. At least the yard looked great in the end! Mark even took him on the BIG tractor for the first time. There was a lot of family there, and we got to meet cousin Serena for the first time. Props to Tyson and Taco for putting on an unbelievable fireworks show....I think it gets better every year :)

Mark surprised everyone and came home with a Harley Davidson golf cart. I have to say, it is really fun and convenient. Gone are the days of having to actually WALK to the garage!

Jack's favorite fruit right now are blueberries. He will eat an entire pint if I let him. Mark and Debi had gone to pick blueberries at a nearby farm before we arrived, so that came in real handy.
