With a corn cob bite and a button nose!

Jack ate corn-on-the-cob for the first time the other night. I have to say, I was surprised at how well he did right off the bat. It catches me off guard sometimes how quickly he picks up on things. For me, the most fascinating part of parenthood is not only the immense love that I feel, but also watching this little person learn each day. It is truly an experience that no one else can recreate or explain.

He has always been a great eater, and this night was no exception. He ate the entire piece of corn!
Jack is an extremely curious little guy. His newest interest is the drawer next to the oven which contains spatulas, peelers, scissors, etc. (you know which drawer I'm talking about). Obviously, it is extremely dangerous. I took a picture of his tricky maneuver to reach the drawer. We have since placed a lock on it, so no more drawer!

Tyson and I have been working hard getting the yard and garden up-to-par the past few weeks. I took a bunch of cute pictures of Jack shortly before he fastened his sharp little teeth into my left hand. He got extremely angry when I took Tyson's shovel away. I got my first glimpse of how Evander Holyfield must have felt in the ring with Mike Tyson. The good thing is, Jack doesn't bite other kids, and he never displays this kind of behavior at daycare. Phewwww! Glad I'm his only victim :)

I too had an issue with biting when I was little. My Mom found this story extremely hilarious/satisfying because apparently, justice has been served. I guess the Mother's curse is inevitable!

Here are the pictures of him being cute :)

Our poor, forgotten, first child........
A few cute ice cream cone pics for good measure :) He really gets after it!
